This storymap helps visualize the history of Moroccan and Spanish fashion by using specific articles of clothing or accessories as examples of how both countries have fostered their cultural and religious beliefs into their everyday lives. Some fashion trends have transcended time from ancient to modern times, while others are relatively new to the regions. Either way, every fashion design, material used, or pattern displayed is an incredible demonstration of how Spaniards and Moroccans view themselves and their cultures. By the end of the storymap, I hope you have gained a better understanding of some of the fashion you might see on the streets, in the religious sites, or maybe even at a flamenco dance, and how it relates its wearers to their history and country.
