This StoryMap focuses on the interconnectedness of architectural motifs in buildings across al-Andalus and the Maghrib. My project explores eight locations across these lands and provides stories about their construction, an analysis of their architectural styles, and commentary on how each building influences the next. By exploring the architecture of these buildings, one can gain an understanding of the vast exchange of cultures that took place across al-Andalus and the Maghrib, overcoming religious and political boundaries.
