This storymap encompasses our journey through Morocco through the lens of food. Throughout every meal, either with the group or just with friends, I documented important historical, cultural, traditional, and religious aspects of the food I was eating and learning about. Essentially unfamiliar with Moroccan food before this trip, I was eager to explore as much as I could about the different elements of Moroccan cuisine, where it all originated, and how it has evolved as the country has changed throughout history. I hope this storymap shines light on the multifaceted aspects of Moroccan cuisine and makes you hungry to learn more!
